By staying a small volume builder, Kern Building, Inc offers a truly unique experience to each customer, meaning the entire construction process is done in house.  The process starts with Kraig Kern, who with years of field and design works behind him, meets with the customers to design and draw their dream home.  Once a preliminary design is arrived at, a very detailed quote is developed.  This includes a room-by-room description of what is included in each room and a detailed cost breakdown.  After arriving at a final price, Kraig Kern then meets with the customers at the building site for a final meeting on the house setting and clearing of trees.  At this point, the Kern Building, Inc. team starts construction on the new design.

Having used many contractors and suppliers for more than 20 years, Kern Building, Inc. has established a dependable team of talented professionals.  Also unique to Kern Building, Inc. is the fact they employ their own team of trim carpenters and service techs, each with years of experience with the company.  This gives a constant quality of product due to years of working closely together.

Kern Building's newest model is located at 9826 Foxwood Trail in Foxwood Forest Subdivision in Kirtland, Ohio.  The 8,800 sq ft old world home, designed by Kraig Kern, offers a fine collection of product and quality. The fully landscaped exteriors boast a stone veneer and shake siding finish that has a rustic but quietly elegant look.  The interior of the impressive home, which is fully decorated, also carries the vintage, old world theme.  The trim and cabinetry that add to the home's charm are designed by Kraig Kern.  A special surprise on the lower level is the fully furnished game room.
